Jason, unfortunately, is allergic to cats so this will be the only time they have some to
Addie, especially, adores the kittens. She named them Cinderella (the green-eyed "nice" cat) and Hairstyle (the brown-eyed "mean" cat). Addie will play with them for hours.
These pictures are pre-and-post haircut.
The "baby kittens" (as they are lovingly called) are also the main models of my two budding photographers. Here are some samples of their work:
My poor husband, however, hates cats. The other day I had to have a
serious talk with him because the girls told me he said it was ok to
kick the cats! He denies ever having said that, but he has certainly shown
them it's ok. Well, we've got it all straightened out now. I am
savoring this time with the cats, it has been so sweet to see the
special relationship my girls have with them.

Awww! I'm allergic to cats too, which is so unfortunate because I would love to have a cat and so would Jonathan. It's so cute to see him play with other people's cats. Darn.
Ha ha, I LOVE the names Addie gave them! Will refuses to have cats, too, even though he's not allergic to them. I can't wait until we can get some pets!
heee - that is some funny stuff. i mean, the part about jason telling the girls they can kick the cats. (don't get mad that i think it's funny) so, your kids just keep getting cuter and cuter! did addie start kindergarten yet? avary and the other 5 year olds started yesterday and all the moms were commiserating yesterday at a playgroup about how hard it was to say goodbye. So, we sure miss you around here. I got a new calling - activity days leader. like mini-yws. I'm excited. Hey, do you remember the book Prize Winner of Defiance, OH? cause in that book the dad hates cats and their cat can open door handles and come inside. so tell jason it could be worse.
Kittens are cute, but I think I'm with Jason. What! Someones gotta be. The girls look like the love them though.
